Ingredients :

1 cup Greek yogurt
1 medium-sized cucumber, finely chopped
1 large tomato, deseeded and finely chopped
1/2 red onion, finely chopped (optional)
1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
1/2 teaspoon chaat masala
Salt to taste
1/2 teaspoon roasted cumin seeds (for garnish)
Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Prepare the Vegetables:

    • Peel and finely chop the cucumber.
    • Deseed the tomato and finely chop it.
    • If using, finely chop the red onion.

Prepare the Yogurt:

    • In a mixing bowl, whisk the Greek yogurt until smooth.

Combine Ingredients:

    • Add the chopped cucumber, tomato, red onion (if using), and fresh cilantro to the yogurt.
    • Mix well to combine all the ingredients evenly.

Season the Raita:

    • Add cumin powder, chaat masala, and salt to taste.
    • Mix thoroughly to ensure the spices are evenly distributed.

    • Sprinkle roasted cumin seeds on top for added flavor and texture.
    • Optionally, garnish with fresh mint leaves.
