Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
In a small bowl, mix together chopped fresh parsley, chopped fresh dill, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
Coat the salmon fillets with the herb mixture, ensuring they are well-covered.
Top with Lemon Slices:
Place thin lemon slices on top of each salmon fillet. This adds a burst of citrus flavor and helps keep the salmon moist.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and easily flakes with a fork.
If you prefer a slightly crispy top, you can broil the salmon for an additional 2-3 minutes until the edges are golden brown.
Transfer the baked lemon herb salmon to plates. Serve with lemon wedges on the side for an extra citrus kick.
