Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Prepare Herbed Mixture:
In a small bowl, mix together finely chopped fresh herbs, olive oil, minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.
Place the chicken breasts in a shallow dish. Brush the herbed mixture over each chicken breast, ensuring they are well-coated. Allow the chicken to marinate for at least 15-30 minutes.
Place the marinated chicken breasts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and no longer pink in the center.
If you desire a slightly crispy top, you can broil the chicken for an additional 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
Garnish the low-fat baked herbed chicken breast with lemon slices and additional fresh herbs if desired.
Serve the baked herbed chicken breast with a side of steamed vegetables or a light salad.
