Zest and juice of 1-2 lemons (adjust to taste) if you like more khatta add more
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1 teaspoon dried oregano
Salt and black pepper, swad anusar

- In a bowl, combine the lemon zest, lemon juice, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix well to create the marinade.
- Place the chicken breasts in a shallow dish or resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring each piece is coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for maximum flavor.
- Preheat the grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Remove the chicken from the marinade and shake off any excess. Discard the marinade.
- Grill the chicken breasts for about 6-8 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and have nice grill marks.
- Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
- Garnish with freshly chopped herbs before serving.
